I was wondering if everyone had this problem or if there was something I could do to help. Even if with a full load, I have to be in no more than 3 inches of water for the front of my boat to stop bouncing. In deeper water, it sometimes bounces uncontrollably. I have a 1754 GTB with a 35 GTR. Thanks

Try to move some more weight to the front like your battery and fuel tank. I personally have never had this problem but have heard of people that do. They just put more weight in the front.

I have the same setup as you and mine will only do that when the boat is empty and I do not have enough wieght in the front.I keep a spare battery and the gas tank up front.I have seen all types of surface drive motors on alot of differant hulls and they will all bounce at some point to a degree, something is wrong with your setup if you are bouncing with a loaded hull

If moving the weight forward doesn't work have two trim tabs welded on. One on each outside bottom corner of the hull. Only six inches long or so. You can adjust them with a cresent wrench up or down by bending them slightly as necessary. This will fix the problem. Gauranteed.

i have a 1756 gtb and i had that problem before i put my trolling motor on and trolling motor battery up front, but still had the problem when i took the trolling motor off for hunting season. went to walmart and got two 25 pounds weights for a bench press bar and put them in under my front deck works pretty well.

well this might sound crazy i have a 1648 wellbuilt with a 35 gtr. i took the motor off flipped the boat over, about a foot from the transom i took a 2x4 an a slegde hammer an made a dent in the bottom of the boat bout 2 ft in length max. sounds crazy but works great. i can have a empty hull with gas tank an battery in the back with me and theres no bouncing.only negative bout it you'll lose a couple of hp.

I brought my boat to hoyt and he took care of it. They welded two tabs on the underside of the back of the boat. It helped out a lot
