Thanks for the info but I was still wondering how far along the bottom does this pad extend towards the front of the boat?

If your looking/wanting exact precise measurements it may be best for you to come down and visit the shop.

FYI...I got a real good look at the boats at the Sportsman show yesterday...the Extreme Hull is one fine boat and the lift section is pretty much molded in to the bottom for the entire length of the hull...

Buddy just got a new extreme hull and wouldn't trade it for the world he says. Well i say new, he got it last october, talk about a fine boat. Only thing i didn't like was the transom, it was a regular transom, i would prefer the sport transom. Looks real slick! 8-)

Ya I have never laid eyes on a true custom aluminum hull such as an Aucoin but of the boats I did see yesterday that being the GT, Excel, Gator Trax, and Pro Drive I liked the simple lay out of the GT the best...just something about the simplistic approach and look of this boat....

The drop deck would almost be a must for me I think although I'm still very much just looking and learning all I can about the different manufacturers...
